Honey Citrus Wing Sauce

SAUCE ON
Air Fried Chicken Wings • Cedar Plank Salmon • Rainbow Carrots
Ingredients

1/3 cup Local Hive Honey
1 Fresh Lemon Juice/Zest
2 Jalapeños (de seed for desired heat level)
1 Fresh Orange Juice/Zest
1 Fresh Lime Juice/Zest
1 White Onion
5 Garlic Cloves
1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Corn Starch
1 tbsp Water
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Preparation
1.
Pre heat oven to 425 degrees. Roast jalapeños, onions and garlic for 15 minutes. Toss in olive oil, salt and pepper before roasting.

Into a food processor or blender put roasted onion, garlic, jalapeño, honey, lemon juice/zest, lime juice/zest, orange juice/zest, yellow mustard, worcestershire, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Blend for 1 minute

Put blended mixture into a pan and bring to a simmer. Seperately, mix corn starch and water together. Add corn starch slurry to pan once mixture is bubbling and simmer for 1 minute. Turn off heat. Sauce is ready once a line with a wooden spoon can separate sauce.
