Pumpkin Beer Caramel Sauce

SAUCE ON
Green Apples • Vanilla Ice Cream • Popcorn
Ingredients


1 Twelve oz can Pumpkin Ale
1 cup White Sugar
1 Fourteen oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Salted Butter
1 tsp Sea Salt
Preparation

Pour the pumpkin ale into a sauce pan and simmer for 20 min until reduced by half. Watch for boiling over.

Pour sugar into a different sauce pan and turn heat to high. Will take about 10 min to start melting. Try not to stir too much as this will result in hard caramel. Gently swirl pan until desired color is reached.

When desired color is reached, vigorously whisk in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, reduced pumpkin ale, butter and salt

Pour into glass container to cool
