Honey Jalapeno Hot Sauce

SAUCE ON
Blue Corn Tortilla Chips • Fish Tacos • Grilled Steak Quesadilla
Ingredients

8 Roasted Jalapeño (4 deseeded, 4 with seeds)
1 Fresh Jalapeño
1 tbsp Honey
1 Red Onion
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp Liquid Smoke
5 Garlic Cloves
1 tbsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Preparation
1.
On a sheet pan put jalapeños, red onion, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake at 400 degrees for 25min

Into a blender put roasted jalapeños, fresh deseeded jalapeño, roasted red onion, roasted garlic, honey, liquid smoke, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper. Blend for 1 minute.

Put blended mixture into a pot and bring to a boil for 5 min.
4.
Pour boiled blended mixture through cheese cloth or mesh sieve.
5.
Let cool and add to your favorite shape hot sauce bottle or container.
