Old Fashioned Hot Sauce Recipe

SAUCE ON

Fried Chicken Sandwich • Tator Tots • Pizza


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Breckenridge Bourbon Whiskey

  • 5 Maraschino Cherries

  • 1/4 cup Maraschino Cherry Juice

  • Juice/Zest of 1 Orange

  • 10 Dashes of Bitters

  • 3/4 cup Diced Chipotle in Adobo

  • 1/2 cup Water

  • 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1/4 cup White Sugar

  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder

  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder

  • 2 tsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper


Preparation

1.

Add all ingredients into a medium sized sauce pot. Bring all ingredients to a simmer.

Let the simmered ingredients cool. Blend hot sauce until smooth.

Put into a bottle and serve on fried chicken!
